I looked through some swedes of Scream on YouTube and came across quite a few interesting examples and gained some ideas for my groups own swede of Scream.
This is the swede that I enjoyed most. I liked the really over-exagerated, comic American accents of the actors and they way that the characters and Scream were friendly to each other until the characters realised that they were supposed to be scared of Scream. Another thing I liked is when the lighter didn't work so Scream asked the camera-person if they had a lighter. We could consider doing something like this with props in our swede.
The use of a toilet-plunger for a weapon was very funny and we should definitely consider using ridiculous prop-replacements like this, and the way someone shouted 'We can clearly see the blood is ketchup' was a good informality.
Overall, the swede was extremely informal and jokey, and we definitely need to have this element in our swede.
